Design
Starting with your brief, we interpret your vision and meet to discuss functionality, aesthetics, materials, finishes, budget, design & production lead-times. Once we arrive on the same page, we move onto creating design drawings to bring your project to life. All bespoke commissions include a design fee, which allows us to produce drawings for review & editing and once you are happy with the final design, we produce a set of technical drawings to guide production.
-
Material
We use a diverse range of native & imported natural materials, that are hand-selected for each project but is carefully sourced from only suppliers that carry official certification of the wood’s sustainable source (FSC). With meticulous planning prior to ordering & production, we pride ourselves as low-wastage-workshop.
-
Production
Our standard lead time is 8-12 weeks from receipt of the initial payment. If your project has a critical deadline, we will discuss this during the briefing and do our best to work to it. We keep you informed of progress during the course of your project and encourage our clients, wherever possible, to visit our studio & workshop to see their pieces take shape.
-
Pricing & Payment
The cost of our work is determined by the current market rate for materials and the time it takes to make each project. Once a design is agreed, we create a quotation for your approval. After approval we request a 50% deposit to secure the production slot in the workshop. For bespoke furniture the remaining 50% is due when the piece is completed, prior to delivery. For larger projects, the remaining balance is split into two stage payments, with the final payment due prior to completion.
-
Delivery & Installation
We offer varying delivery and installation services. The price for delivery and/or installation is calculated once we have carried out a site survey or home visit, and have a clear concept of the scale of your project. The cost of these services will be reflected in your quotation.
-
Shipping
We ship anywhere in the world and will discuss any requirements at the briefing. A cost for international delivery will be quoted for. Import duty is additional to the cost of international delivery and will be invoiced in your local region once delivery has been made.
