Husband & wife team, Owen Davies & Corné Immelman have over 30 years of industry experience and a wealth of design and manufacturing knowledge, working on projects across the UK & abroad.
Together they have an exceptional creative drive to push every project to a higher level and run their studio in the Cotswolds with a hands-on approach that allows them and their dedicated team to deliver projects, seamlessly, from concept to completion.
Interior Designer
Corné decided to make the UK her permanent home after what was supposed to be just a quick stop over in the nineties! She has a wide-ranging international background in Art & Design, which has taken her from her native South Africa, to Washington DC, London and now, all the way to the Cotswolds.
With her honed skillset and experience working in the creative industry for decades, she specialises in Architectural Interior Design, working on high value heavy residential refurbishments following The RIBA Plan of Work.
As a designer, Corné works thoughtfully with her clients to develop their original briefs into luxury and timeless designs, with a main focus on personalising every space to her clients’ way of living.
She is known for throwing the rule-book out of the window and has a reputation for delivering end results of exceptional quality with a strong focus on pulling in superior craftsmanship to execute her design-vision.
Furniture Designer and Maker
Owen was introduced to cabinetmaking at Rendcomb College in Gloucestershire at the age of 11 and went on to study Furniture and Design Technology.
He would go on to embrace his passion for design & woodworking, but not before his career took an interesting creative turn! What followed was an exciting fruitful “first career” working all over the world as a sound engineer & record producer in studios such as Virgin Townhouse and Paisley Park.
In 1990 he started Owen Davies Designs in London and later, after moving back to the Cotswolds, Owen set up his dream workshop where he manages his team, focusing on exceptional quality craftsmanship.
He thrives on attention to detail, has an abundance of enthusiasm for working with natural materials and loves clients that appreciate the treasure that is fine cabinetmaking.
